Which room to ask for
From our guests
Most of our guests stay in a Deluxe or Fairmont room with a queen bed. For the Parliament Buildings or the canal locks outside the window, request a Fairmont View or Deluxe View room.
Our team recommends
Without a suite, we’d choose a Signature King, a larger room with a one-of-a-kind layout shaped by the castle, looking toward Parliament Hill or Major’s Hill Park. The entry suite is the Junior Suite, one open room with a sitting area. For a separate living room with Parliament Hill in the windows, choose a Corner Suite, whose living room seats six and closes off from the bedroom.
Families can take a Corner Suite with two double beds. The Executive One-Bedroom Suite is larger again, with French doors, a deep bathtub, views over Major’s Hill Park and the Fairmont Gold lounge for breakfast and evening canapés. For a longer stay, the Presidential Suites add a dining room and a kitchenette, and open onto an adjoining room as a second bedroom.
