The hotel’s lobby connects straight into the Elements mall, with its restaurants, shops and cinemas, and Kowloon Station is two levels below. From there, the Airport Express reaches the airport in about half an hour.
At night, curtains of LED lights on the façade glow like fireflies. Upstairs, the Living Room is the hotel’s lobby, playful in the W way, with butterflies on the ceiling and a large chinoiserie mural, and our check-in was quick and smooth.
Our Fabulous Room had a king bed and a chaise longue by floor-to-ceiling windows over Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island. The harbour views face west, so the island is seen at an angle rather than straight on, and the bathroom had a tub, with the shower in its own wet room.
Breakfast at KITCHEN was a big buffet of Western and Asian dishes, from dim sum and handmade sushi to curries, with a noodle bar, an omelette station and waffles.
The FIT gym and the Bliss Spa sit high up with views over the harbour. On the 76th floor, the WET Deck has an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and a bar, and WOOBAR is sleek by day and lively at night.

Our Fabulous Room looked over the harbour, so request a harbour view. For more space, the suites run from the Fantastic Suite to the Extreme WOW Suite.
Even the Fantastic Suite faces the harbour, with a separate living room. The one we’d single out is the Marvelous Suite, on a corner over the harbour, with a dining room as well. For a family, request connecting rooms, which the hotel offers in every category.
