Our team recommends
The hotel sits on the stretch of beach between The Palm and Jumeirah Beach, in Dubai Marina, with its waterfront promenade of cafés and restaurants. Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa are about 20 minutes away by car, and the airport just under 30.
The serpentine façade is shaped like a Saharan viper, and the theme carries inside, where check-in sits in a viper’s nest of snakeskin mosaic. The Living Room draws on the souqs and storytellers of the Middle East, with lamps made from Arabian carpets.
Our suite had a living room with a curved sofa, a dining table by the window, and a minibar hidden in an upholstered column. The bedroom and its balcony looked over the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina, and the bathroom was glamorous, with black-and-white tiles, emerald walls, brass fittings and a freestanding tub by the window.
We also toured a Fantastic Guestroom, the entry room, with twin beds, a balcony over the sea, a walk-in wardrobe and a green-tiled bathroom.
Breakfast is a buffet at Ginger Moon, among tropical plants and bamboo, with a terrace looking out to Ain Dubai and Dubai Harbour. It sits beside the WET Deck, a crescent-shaped infinity pool lined with palms and lively with music by day.
Farrago is the hotel’s plush, velvet-lined lounge, and ATTIKO is the rooftop bar, with views over the Marina.
