Our team recommends
The hotel is in the heart of Whistler Village, just around the corner from the gondola up the mountain. It is built into the slope, so the lobby floor holds the driveway and front desk, and the floor below opens onto the village by the ski shops.
We left our skis with the ski valet each afternoon and picked them up in the morning, steps from the lifts. Boots and poles come up to the room, and everything else waits downstairs.
Our one-bedroom suite was cosy, as ski rooms tend to be, with a kitchenette, a dining table for four, a fireplace and a small balcony. After a day on the mountain, the hot, powerful shower was exactly what we needed.
Breakfast is a buffet at Grill & Vine, with stations for fruit, pastries and hot dishes, and take-out boxes for anyone heading straight to the lifts. On the second floor, the spa sits beside the pools, with hot tubs indoors and out.

For a family of four, book a one-bedroom suite. Ours had a queen bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room, a kitchenette and a balcony.
For a couple, a studio suite is enough, with a queen bed, a fireplace and a kitchenette. For a larger family or two couples, we’d single out a Penthouse Mountain Suite in the East Tower, over two levels with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a vaulted living room, a washer and dryer and a private balcony.

The staff were exceptional … They provided us with to-go smoothies and coffee and remembered our coffee orders from the previous day. Overall, all staff were friendly and helpful.
The included breakfast buffet was wonderful and included limitless lattes and smoothies … The staff in Grill & Vine were especially lovely.
