From our guests
Our guests write about the service and their room upgrades.
From our guests
Our guests stay in a Superior room or, for something special, a suite in the Kasui-en annex, the Japanese-style wing designed by Togo Murano in 1959, with Westin Club access.
Our team recommends
Without a suite, request a Deluxe Heian-kyo View room for the view. The Junior Suites are one room with a sitting area and Westin Club access. For a separate living room, choose a Luxury Suite, also offered with the Heian-kyo view.
The rooms we’d single out are in the Kasui-en annex, behind a private corridor on the seventh floor, where each has a study and a cypress or umbrella-pine bath filled with natural hot-spring water. Families do well in the Luxury Suite Japanese, which adds an eight-tatami room with futons for up to four.
From our guests
The entire stay was absolutely perfect. Great service. Room upgrades were greatly appreciated.
