Our team recommends
If you don’t need a suite, choose an Esplanade Room, on the hotel’s top floor, about a third larger than the Marina Bay View Rooms and looking over the bay or the river. Every suite comes with the Straits Club; the Premier Collyer Suite has a separate living room, and the Palladian Suite adds the river or bay view.
The standout suite is the Loft Suite, one of only eight, with the living room below and the bedroom up a spiral staircase. Its double-height French doors open onto a verandah between the building’s Doric columns, facing Marina Bay.

Fantastic views of Marina Bay. The room had a fantastic fruit plate. The included Straits Club lounge was also lovely and convenient, with afternoon tea and evening snacks with drinks. It was a breakfast buffet like I have never seen before, absolutely massive, with Western, Asian and Indian options.
