Kowloon, Hong Kong S.A.R.
Three MICHELIN Keys, 2026No. 1, The 50 Best Hotels 2026
Rosewood Hong Kong rises over Victoria Harbour at Victoria Dockside, on Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.
Our team recommends
Even with more than 400 rooms, the hotel feels like a private residence. Cars drop off a level above the street, and the corridors have sofas, books and quiet corners, more like a fine apartment building than a hotel.
Our Club Grand Harbour View Room, about 570 square feet, looked straight across the water to the skyline. The bathroom is marble from floor to ceiling, and turndown brought small snacks and thoughtful extras like cables and lens cloths.
Staff greeted us by name from arrival to departure, and we checked in at the Manor Club. The club serves breakfast, afternoon tea and evening hors d’oeuvres generous enough for dinner, and watching the harbour light show through its windows is one of our most memorable hotel evenings.
The infinity-edge pool and the gym both look over the harbour through floor-to-ceiling glass. In the hotel’s cocktail bar, a ceiling of hourglasses tips and fills, the most inventive we’ve seen in a hotel bar.
We’ve never stayed at another city hotel that made us feel more at home or more cared for.

Our team recommends
Our team would send anyone who wants a calm, private base in the middle of Kowloon, and who plans to enjoy the hotel as much as the city.
From our guests
Our guests write most about the service and the size of the rooms.
From our guests
Most of our guests stay in a room looking over the harbour, and some take a suite.
Our team recommends
Club rooms and suites come with the Manor Club, and we’d recommend it. Ours was a Club Grand Harbour View Room.
Every suite comes with a personal butler, and the entry Kowloon Peak View Suites face the city rather than the water. Our pick of the suites is the Grand Harbour Balcony Suite, a corner suite whose private balcony looks across Victoria Harbour, front row for the fireworks. A family fits best in the Two-Bedroom Suite, with a full kitchen and a dining room papered in hand-painted chinoiserie.
From our guests
We were blown away with the service level and the level of quality of all their staff … The room was absolutely huge.
