Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
JW Marriott Parq Vancouver stands beside BC Place, looking over False Creek, in downtown Vancouver’s entertainment district.
Our team recommends
The hotel is part of Parq Vancouver, a long, modern building that wraps around the BC Place stadium at the end of False Creek. Most of downtown is within walking distance.
The lobby sets the tone, with mid-century furniture in warm bronze and dark oak. We arrived well before check-in, and the front desk had our room ready soon after.
Our One Bedroom Suite on the 18th floor sat in the rounded tip of the building, so the living room had an unusual, many-sided shape. The king bed was very soft and we slept well, and a freestanding tub sat in the corner of the bathroom.
The view was the best part. The suite looked southwest over False Creek to the glass globe of Science World, with the stadium on the other side.
We spent much of our time in the Executive Lounge, a dark, high-ceilinged room for breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening hors d’oeuvres. On the 17th floor, the spa, a large, well-equipped gym and an outdoor hot tub look out over BC Place.
We left impressed, and we’d happily stay again on our next visit to Vancouver.
From our guests

Our team recommends
Our team found it a stylish base for a few nights in Vancouver, close to the stadium and the water.
From our guests
Families stay here too, in a guest room with two queen beds.
From our guests
Most of our guests stay in a guest room with one king bed or two queens, some with a water view. For more space, now and then one of them takes the One Bedroom Suite.
Our team recommends
Request a high floor on the water side. Our One Bedroom Suite had a separate living room and looked straight over False Creek.
The suite we’d choose is the Parq Villa, a two-level loft with a staircase up to the bedroom and a sliding glass wall onto a private terrace over False Creek. A family fits best in the Sky Suite, with two bedrooms, each with its own marble bathroom, and windows on three sides over the stadium, the city and the water.
