The hotel’s twin towers rise over Business Bay, among the tallest hotel buildings in the world. Business Bay metro station is about ten minutes away on foot, though in the heat of a Dubai summer a three-minute car ride is the wiser choice.
Our Deluxe Sea View Guest Room on the 63rd floor was spacious, with a long desk at the window and views across the city to the Arabian Gulf and the World Islands. The bathroom had an oversized tub, easily big enough for two, with the shower and toilet in their own compartments.
The service stood out. When a corner suite came free for our last night, the front desk moved us without hesitation and had our things brought over while we were out in the city.
The suite had a dining table for four, a living room with sliding doors on both sides into the bedroom, and a walk-in closet. Its bathtub sits at a window facing the Burj Khalifa.
Breakfast at Kitchen6 is one of the widest spreads we have seen, Western, Asian, Middle Eastern and Indian, with a chicken tikka masala omelette or shakshouka made to order. A chef at the omelette station took us under his wing, bringing fresh strawberries and chai to our table each morning.

For a separate living room, choose a Deluxe Corner Suite, on the sea side or the city side. For a family, we’d choose a duplex Penthouse Suite at the top of either tower, with a master and a guest bedroom, a dining area and a majlis, looking out to the Gulf and Burj Khalifa. Executive rooms and the penthouses include the hotel’s lounge, with breakfast and evening drinks.
