From our guests
Most of our guests stay in a Fairmont Queen room. Others take a Fairmont King, a Deluxe City View room or, for more space, a Junior Suite.
Our team recommends
If a room is enough, choose a Signature King, with château details, a city or river view and half as much room again as the Deluxe rooms. A family fits best in the Signature Two Double, an open room with a sitting area and sofa bed that sleeps six. For a full living room facing the river, we’d choose the Fairmont Gold Suite, with the Fairmont Gold lounge for breakfast and evening canapés.
The suite we’d choose is the Fairmont Gold Signature Suite, on an upper floor, with an original fireplace, two bathrooms and the river below. For history, the Churchill Suite recalls the Quebec Conferences of 1943 and 1944, with a four-poster bed and a dining room. A larger family takes the Trudeau & Trudeau Suite, with two bedrooms, a kitchenette and a round living room in a turret.

Just a legendary hotel, so a pleasure to finally get to stay there.
The river tour that was complimentary as part of the hotel’s activity program was interesting. It was a good two-hour activity and gave me a good appreciation of the history of Quebec City. I got to visit Lévis, which I know I would never have done, as it was never on my radar.
I had a great stay at the Château Frontenac.
