Osaka, Kansai, Japan
One MICHELIN Key, 2026
Conrad Osaka occupies the 33rd to 40th floors of the Nakanoshima Festival Tower West, above an art museum, a concert hall and shops, with views across the city.
Our team recommends
The hotel stands on Nakanoshima, the river island between the Umeda and Namba districts. An underground passage leads straight to Higobashi Station, a short subway ride from Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori and Osaka Castle.
A lift takes you from a modest ground-floor entrance to the 40th floor, where the lobby opens onto the city through walls of glass. A spiral staircase shaped like a ribbon leads down to the lounge, and dark stone, oak and bold art make it one of the most striking arrivals we know.
We were upgraded to a corner Executive Suite in silver and oak, with red lacquer art and curved windows facing south-west over Osaka. The bathroom is a Japanese-style wet room with a round tub, and sweets, grapes and a bottle of sake were waiting as a welcome.
Breakfast at Atmos, on the 40th floor, is a buffet with an à la carte menu besides; we liked the rice bowl station with seared albacore and salmon roe, and the Japanese curry rice. KURA serves teppanyaki and sushi, and the 40 Sky Bar & Lounge is the place for an evening drink with the view.
From our guests

Our team recommends
Our team found it right for travellers who want Osaka spread out below them, with a quick subway ride to the city’s shopping and food streets.
From our guests
Our guests have stayed in a Deluxe Room with twin beds.
Our team recommends
Deluxe Rooms are generous for Japan, and Premium View Rooms are the same rooms higher up, with better views. For more space, book a corner Executive Suite, with a separate living room and bedroom.
The Premium View Rooms all face south, over the old buildings of Nakanoshima and the green of Utsubo Park. There are only four corner Executive Suites, all on the 37th floor with windows on two sides, so request one early; for a family, one connects to a second room. For a shorter stay, the Junior Corner Suite has a round tub with a view and Executive Lounge access.
