If you’d rather not take a suite, request a Premier River-View Room, with a sitting area over the Mississippi and a free-standing oval tub open to the bedroom. The Executive Suites set the living room apart from a corner bedroom; we’d choose the River-View Executive Suite. For a bedroom behind a solid door, a wet bar and a table for four, choose the River-View One-Bedroom Suite.
With children, we’d book the City-View Two-Bedroom Suite, which takes the whole end of the 15th or 16th floor, with a table for eight and a butler’s pantry. A Premier River-View Room can also connect to the One-Bedroom Suite. For a celebration, the two Presidential Suites look over both the French Quarter and the river.
