Hyatt is slated to open its first-ever Park Hyatt property in Mexico, providing a much-anticipated and welcome addition to its already impressive roster.

The Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol is set to start welcoming guests in early 2025. Once open, it will join a number of neighbouring luxury properties on the tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.

Opens in early 2025

Mexico is scheduled to get its first luxury Park Hyatt property as early as next year, providing a new and compelling option for travellers headed to the Los Cabos area.

The Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol promises an intimate and luxurious beachfront retreat near downtown Cabo San Lucas.

The property has been designed to complement its surroundings, incorporating beautiful terracing and desert plants in its landscaping, and providing guests with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez.

The hotel’s shared spaces showcase sleek and contemporary design that melds beautifully with a colour scheme chosen to create a seamless visual between the property and the Baja coastline.

The hotel will have 163 rooms, including 88 suites and three villas, with some offering private terraces and plunge pools with ocean views.

Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of amenities including multiple dining venues, five pools, a 20,000-foot spa, 24-hour fitness centre, a yoga studio, access to a golf course, and more.

Although the property has been in development since 2017, and its opening has experienced many unfortunate delays due to supply-chain and other issues, hopes are high that the current early 2025 opening date is accurate (though no official opening date has yet been set).

Conclusion

Mexico’s first Park Hyatt property, Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol, is set to open its doors in 2025. The property is not yet open for reservations; however, once it is, be sure to get in touch with Prince Collection to book through Hyatt Privé, a preferred partner program.

By booking through Hyatt Privé, you’ll enjoy a suite of extra benefits for your stay at no additional cost, including complimentary breakfast, a $50–100 (USD) property credit, a potential room upgrade (subject to availability), and more.

If you’re planning a trip to Los Cabos in 2025, or to any of Park Hyatt’s other incredible properties, please reach out to one of our travel advisors for a quote, and we’ll respond with everything you need to know.
